Homework Policy

Homework is expected to be completed by the next morning  upon arrival.  Most of the time, homework is just leftover classwork.  I try really hard to give students time to get started so they can get help, if needed, before they go home.  Reading nightly for at least 15 minutes is a great habit to create or continue.  I also have my math group try to complete an hour of Khan Academy  by the end of each week.  I post the homework slide on REMIND daily and you can also see that same slide posted in their slide deck for the day on Google Classroom.  It is always the very last slide.  

Assignments turned in a day late will have a 10% deduction

Assignments turned in 2 Days late will have  10% deduction

Assignments more than 2 days late will be a zero.

Students should fill out their planners daily.  Please check them nightly.  It is another way to communicate with each other.  

Also, please check Skyward weekly to make sure work has been turned in and also to check for any discrepancies.  Please don't hesitate to call, text, email, or REMIND me with any questions or concerns.  I greatly appreciate your involvement in your student's success.  It does take teamwork and I am grateful for your cooperation.
