About Me 

After graduating from Ball State University with my degree in Elementary Education I taught in both South Bend and Overland Park, Kansas.  I was fortunate to be able to stay home with our four kids, and participated in all the "behind the scenes" school activities until I felt the pull to come back to the classroom. I've done A LOT of long term subbing in our district and feel fortunate that I have gotten to know so many of the kids in the school district that way.   My husband, Rob, is a Purdue grad and works for a beef company.  Our four kids are Riley, an IU grad who lives in Chicago and is finishing flight school, Reagan, also and IU grad and working in Indy, Dylan, a sophomore at IU, and Colin, a senior at West Side. We also have two much loved dogs, Gertrude and Cisco, and a cat, Meadow.  My sister is also a teacher and my niece, Wynn, is going into fourth grade.  

You can find me enjoying time with my family, running with friends on the weekend, the movie theatre, and all the high school baseball games.  We love living in West Lafayette and I'm thrilled to be with your kids this year.
