Google Classroom is a website that we use almost every day. I will post morning work, classwork, or even homework on google classroom. If you are absent and would like to stay caught up with what we are doing in the classroom, I will post your virtual work to google classroom.

Often times we will use Epic for fun reading in the classroom. Epic allows student to read on their Chromebook and has features like read aloud who need help staying focused on their reading.  It also has videos that students can watch. In the classroom students are allowed to watch the videos during free time, not reading time.

Prodigy is a fun application that we use in the classroom to encourage math and language skills through fun games. Students are able to be on Prodigy when all of their other work is done. They are also able to play this game at home. 

IXL is a new program to WLIS this year. I know many of the students used IXL in third grade, but it is new to me. I am hoping to use this tool in the classroom to strengthen math and language skills. This is another program that is accessible from home.
