Mrs. Briggs' 6th Grade

Welcome!

My name is Kristen Briggs and this is my first year joining the 6th grade team at WLIS, but this is my 6th year teaching! 

I grew up in a military family and moved all around the world throughout my childhood, but I have called Indiana my home for the past 10 years. I graduated from Purdue University  in 2020 and decided to settle down in West Lafayette with my husband and our family.

Last year, I taught 2nd grade at WLES, but I am very excited to join the WLIS team this year!

Outside of school, I love to spend time with my family, travel, read, and watch my favorite sports teams!

I am greatly looking forward to this school year!
