Ensemble Biography

The Mayville Cardinal Singers are in their 6th year of direction under John Dobbratz and JD Cooney. They are in extra-curricular choir which meets after school and as a 4 week camp in the summer to kick off their learning. Last year throughout the year they worked on a new set to keep working on their skills and to keep that sense of bond even though many competitions were not happening. The competitions they will be attending this year are New London, Sauk Prairie, West Liberty, Fort Atkinson, Monona Grove, and Green Bay Southwest! This year they are presenting selections from the musical version of 9 to 5 based off the 1979 movie starring Dolly Parton.
