FROM THE DESK OF
MRS. CROUGH
Dear Parents,
Welcome to another school year. My name is Mrs. Crough, and I am looking forward to teaching your children. I have been teaching for 22 years, 21 of which have been here at Zamora. I taught 6th grade for 6 years, a 5/6 combination class for a year, and 5th for the last 16 years. Outside of the classroom, I participate in workshops, seminars, in-service meetings, and work with my fellow teachers to keep my professional knowledge and teaching skills up-to-date. I love to teach and am excited about the upcoming year.
I will assign homework Monday through Thursday. I do not assign homework on weekends, holidays, or school breaks. Therefore, I provide students with adequate time to complete long term assignments (book reports, research papers, etc.) during regular homework time (M-TH) and in class. However, if a student gets behind, he/she may need to use breaks to catch up. It is my hope this will rarely happen, if at all, because I strongly believe weekends and breaks are a time for family and friends.
Feel free to contact me at any time.
