Tips for Parents
Check their notes, they should be adding to their notes independently, on an almost daily basis.
Keep track of their progress online. Assignments are generally graded within 24-48 hours of being due.
Help them schedule short and long term assignments
Invite their study group over for a study session

A Word about Notes
Students-
You can copy and paste my notes into a document for your use to make your note taking more efficient
If you want to use the Cornell WIKSPEN Note sheet to copy your notes into, that works even better.
For note checks, I am looking for how well you have added to the notes that I have given you. I may intentionally leave whole sections of a chapter out in order that you completely do it yourself.
Also don't forget to add the WIKSPEN acronym throughout all of the notes.
