Dear Third Grader,
Hello! My name is Mrs. Wagner, and I am THRILLED to be your third-grade teacher! I hope you have been enjoying your summer vacation and were able to spend quality time with your family and friends. Be prepared to share your favorite summer memories with your classmates when school begins.
I am looking forward to a wonderful year of learning together! Third grade is my favorite grade to teach because third graders have the best traits students can possess: curiosity, enthusiasm, and a good sense of humor. I think you’re going to enjoy third grade because you will learn how to write in cursive, read many great books, learn more about multiplication and division, and study many interesting science/social studies topics. You are going to have a GREAT year!
I am excited to meet you on the first day of school, which is on Tuesday, September 2. Enjoy your last weeks of summer vacation. Let’s make the 2025-2026 school year a terrific one!
