There will be a brief meeting on Monday, September 29th after school in the Zen Den (Room 209) for anyone interested in working at the School Store this year.

The cross country team had their second race of the season against Copiague. In a great bounce back race, the team secured a dominant win by a score of 21 to 37. Alex Giana led from the start, taking first overall, with Liam McKendry running a great second half of the race to take second. Rounding out the scoring group was Morgan Grover, Patrick Mercorella, and Nicky Raucci. Nicky Raucci and Frankie Mancini ran significant personal bests in the race, with many coming close to their bests for the season. The team is back in action on Tuesday to take on Robert Moses middle school. Great job Lions!
The Udall Football Team defeated Islip Middle School by a score of 24-13 on Thursday. Christian Busking scored 2 rushing touchdowns and James Griesmeyer added another score on the ground to seal the victory. Jake Tyler went three for three on extra point attempts. Udall takes on East Islip Middle School at home next Friday at 4PM.
The West Islip Varsity gymnastics team competed against East Islip on Thursday September 25th scoring a 162.55. On floor, Kate O’Regan scored an 8.35 and Zoey Richardelli scored an 8.7 tying for 3rd overall. Great job girls! Next competition is away at Middle Country on Tuesday!
The Udall field hockey lions squared off against their cross-town rival Beach Street yesterday. The team was victorious with a 1-0 score, but the match was hard fought as expected. The team played with determination and hardwork. The Scoring for the Lions was Gwen Dieckmann with an assist from Giuliette Fileti. Zoey Schwartz recorded 4 saves and no goals and Ella Getavesky had no saves and no goals in the cage for the win. Great job girls.
The Boys Soccer team beat Academy Charter School 14-1 with standout goals from Mikey Vandenberg, Alex Martin, and Jonny Palmeri. They are on the road next Monday, September 29th, against Robert Moses Middle School, keep this momentum going!
Congratulations to the girls' soccer team on a victory against Islip winning 7-0. Goals were scored by Kylie Buccello, Stephanie Jimenez, Aubrey Raffaele, Sabrina Shierant, Giuliana Accomando, and Lena Kutch. Goals were assisted by Sabrina Shierant, Braeyln Barr, and Stephanie Jimenez. Congrats again to the girls on their win!

The Udall field hockey team had a win against Robert Moses Middle School on Friday. The team showed great passing and stickwork. Scoring for the Lions was Giuliette Fileti with a hat trick and an assist, Lila Grim scored 2 goals and an assist, Tess Hogan, Jesse Shannon and Mya Curuchaga each scored one goal and an assist, and Gwen Dieckmann and Lilah Kelskey finish the scoring with a goal each. Way to go Lions!
