Light Speed (2021-2022)

Designed for a 4th Grade Solar activity, The 11th Grade STEM research class design this test stand to perform an experiment in the elementary STEM classrooms. Each test stand contains two motors connected independently to two solar panels. The intensity of the simulated sunlight (a 60 watt reflector lamp) can be measured by counting the rotations of the wooden discs mounted on top of each motor. Students can make observations from both sides of the test stand.
