About Mrs. Solnick: My name is Melanie Solnick and I am a kindergarten teacher at Paul J. Bellew Elementary School. I have been teaching in West Islip since 2005 and have taught second grade, sixth grade, and now kindergarten! Some of my hobbies are reading, biking, and spending time with my family! This includes my husband Eric, my son Thomas (8 years old) and my daughter Avery (6 years old).
