In this class students will use learned knowledge and skills to design and test possible solutions to real world problems. We will focus on the study of the human made world as it is related to Problem Solving strategies, Design processes, Transportation technologies and Manufacturing technologies. After this course has been completed you should have a better understanding of technology, how it affects your life, impact it has on the environment and your future as it relates to technology.  

So, what is Technology Education?

 It is the way we teach technology. Technology is the use of the knowledge of tools, materials, processes, and systems by humans to solve problems and provide benefits to humankind. Technology education offers unique opportunities to apply a broad range of academic concepts through practical, hands-on applications.
