Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year !  My name is Mrs. Jablonski, and I am the middle school mathematics support  teacher.  My goal, as your child’s educator, is to enforce instructional shifts demanded by the Next Generation Learning Standards in Mathematics. With the use of various modalities, applications, and strategies, your child will be able to learn through a differentiated classroom environment that focuses on hands-on, real world applications and fluency, rather than memorization.  As their AIS teacher, I will not only gear your child toward mastery of mathematical topics commanded by the standards at their own individualized pace, but will also prepare him/her for assessments, concentrated on cumulative units and lessons.  All students will be encouraged to set their own goals and self-assess what they know/will learn for each unit. Group conversations, student independence, and productive struggles are encouraged and welcomed. In my class, students will learn to advocate for themselves in a Judgement-Free zone, where they will be excited to ask questions, learn from others, and work hard.
