Course Objectives: Students will:
To prepare students for entry into science research competitions.
Expand their knowledge of the goals and functions of science research in the world today.
Conduct research by reading scientific articles and journals
Learn to handle lab equipment and follow safety rules during experimentation,
Use the scientific method to plan and carry out a research project.
Present their findings to their peers, parents, teachers, and the community.
Evaluate their research and lab techniques in preparation for studies in advanced research course in high school.
Research in areas of behavioral science, life science, chemistry, and or physical science.
