Dear Second Grade Students and Parents,

My name is Mrs. Greene and I am VERY excited to be your teacher this year!! I know that you have been well-prepared for the many fun things that you will be learning in 2nd grade! It’s going to be a great year!

I’ve had a wonderful summer! I enjoyed being able to  read and relax with my family. I also spent a lot of time preparing for this year. I hope that you had a fun summer, too! 😊

I’m looking forward to seeing all of you in our classroom on September 4.  Remember that you are in the middle hallway this year.  Until then, please purchase your supplies by the first day of school and write your name on everything. Bring a snack and water bottle with you each day. (There is no water fountain in the room.) Enjoy the remaining days of your summer vacation!
