Dear First Grade Families,

Hello and welcome! My name is Ms. Gillespie, and I am so excited to be your first grade teacher. For the past three years, I have had the joy of teaching 1st grade at Bayview and here at Paul J. Bellew, where I made great memories. Teaching has always been my passion, and I am grateful that I get to continue my journey here in West Islip. 

When I’m not teaching, I love spending time with my family. I have a one-year-old niece who I absolutely adore, and I’m excited to be getting married next summer! In my free time, I enjoy going to the beach, attending concerts, cheering on the Mets and Islanders, traveling, bike riding, and doing puzzles.
