Dear First Grade Families,

Hello and welcome! My name is Ms. Gillespie, and I am so excited to be joining the Paul J. Bellew family. For the past two years, I have had the joy of teaching 1st grade at Bayview, where I made great memories. Teaching has always been my passion, and I am grateful that I get to continue my journey here in West Islip. 

Here are a few things about me:) When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family. This past May, I became an aunt for the first time, and I am loving every second of it! Some of my favorite things to do are going to the beach, attending concerts, going to Mets and Islanders games, traveling, bike riding, and doing puzzles. 

I cannot wait to meet you all and begin an amazing year together. Enjoy the rest of your summer!
