PROJECT: CRAIGWAY 09.29.2003
Just read an article on Slashdot.org about a guy who made his own "balancing scooter".
"Robot hacker Trevor Blackwell explains how to build your own Segway-style balancing scooter. He says it's not that hard (but he already knows how to build walking robots)."
I can't take much credit for any of this work. Sure I helped them get started, gave them the tools and materials necessary, but that was it. Basically, I was the "nay sayer". I honestly didn't think the project would progress the way it did. It is an amazing accomplishment for a high school project.
