Hello and Welcome!

I am a fourth grade integrated teacher at Oquenock Elementary School. Mrs. Parson and I have so many exciting things planned for this year. I have been teaching in the West Islip School District for 13 years. Prior to working in West Islip, I worked at St. Patrick School in Bay Shore, New York. I have worked seven years as an elementary education classroom teacher and I am now in my ninth year as a special education teacher.

COVID-19 School Closure

Please refer to Mrs. Parson and Mr. Bauernfeind's classroom for all work during this time. Mrs. Parson and Mr. Bauernfeind's class page will have links that will assist you with assignments. The daily Scholastic activities have a text to speech option and many articles are differentiated.

I am available Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to answer questions, respond to phone calls and answer any e-mails.
