Click the video below for a quick explanation of the Coin Cover plan.
Coin Cover allows you to purchase any needed repairs using Chromebook coins. (We do not use physical coins, we simply record how many you have.) This could be screen, keyboard and battery repairs, or even a refurbished device in the worst case: these can all be purchased using your coins. We start you off with 3 coins, which may be all you ever need. If all coins are used up, further coins can be purchased through the School Shop at £25 each.
Although this tier offers less certainty than Complete Cover, it still provides affordable support for your child's device.
Pricing: £20 Deposit, then £3.50 per month. This is £223 total. (If you prefer, you can pay the deposit now and then pay the whole of the remainder at once through ParentPay in September.)
Duration: 58 months, or the duration of your child's enrolment if this is less.
3 'Coins' that can be used to repair your child's Chromebook, according to the list below.
A soft protective case.

Breakdown of our costs
To provide Coin Cover to each participant, we pay around £175 for a new Chromebook, £30 for a Chrome Management License and £10 for a slipcase, for a total cost of £215 at the outset. You pay £223 over 5 years, which includes 3 repair 'coins'. Once those are exhausted, further repairs must be purchased with coins available from our School Shop at £25 each.
These are the most common repairs that you may need to buy with your Chromebook Coins.
Replacement Charger: get a new compatible charger to give your Chromebook some well needed juice.
Replacement Keyboard: have you been working too hard? Replace those worn out keys.
Screen Repair: what use is a Chromebook if the screen is smashed? Get it repaired!
Replacement Battery: keep on the move.
Refurbished Chromebook: sometimes a Chromebook is beyond help! Retire it and get a replacement.
