Brian Gerrard is WISR's Chief Academic Officer, and has been on the faculty for 10 years. He was the founder of the Center for Child and Family Development 25 years ago, and that Center has been part of WISR for three years.
Ronald Mah earned his Master's in WISR's MFT program, and the later achieved the Doctorate at WISR. Also, he has been on WISR's faculty since the late 1980s.

This film is about the life--the literary works and social activism--of the renown Chilean poet, Fernando Alegria. Fernando was a founding Board member of WISR, and this film was produced by WISR student, Uwe Blesching, and WISR Board member, Marcia Campos in 2004, shortly before Fernando's death. A limited number of CDs (in both English and Spanish) are available from WISR.
These books were written by WISR alums--sometimes growing out of their doctoral dissertation, and in some cases, further efforts that they pursued long after finishing at WISR. [See also some books by alumni in the Featured Books section, above.]
This book is closely interwoven with Kathy Kain's WISR doctoral studies, and especially her dissertation.
David Yamada earned his PhD at WISR, and prior to, during and after his WISR studies, he was working as a nationally recognized expert on workplace bullying.
Tom Athanasiou is a WISR Master's Alum
Lee Francis III, a Laguna Pueblo, was one of WISR's three doctoral alumni. He was was a poet, educator, and founder of the Wordcraft Circle of Native Writers and Storytellers.
Che Kum Clement is a WISR Doctoral alumnus, and currently serves on WISR's Board. He is former Chair of the Department of Vocational and Technical Education at the Islamic University of Technology in Bangladesh.
Larry Berkelhammer is an alumnus of WISR's Bachelor's Program and the Doctoral proram. This book grew out of his dissertation.
Oba T'Shaka is an alumnus of WISR's Doctoral program. While pursuing his doctorate at WISR, he was Chair of the Africana Studies Department at San Francisco State.
