A warm welcome to Wish PT and Wellness PC. I am very pleased to be on this Physical Therapy/ Wellness journey with you to help you maintain/achieve a balanced, strong, flexible body and active lifestyle.
I can help you find ways to manage your stress levels, refresh your exercise routine, or start to move your body again after injury or time off so that you can return to the activities that you love with less discomfort. I feel that the most valuable part of my practice is educating you about your current situation and the steps needed to recover and heal. Awareness is powerful and helps our body to find balance and healing.
I use a hands on, manual therapy approach to facilitate tissue healing, we problem solve together and empower you to return to your activities with confidence, optimal movement and skill.
Addressing your low back pain, neck tightness, achy shoulders or creaky knees, I begin with a thorough evaluation of your current symptoms. It is important to include the history of any previous injuries that may play a role in any compensation strategies that you may have adopted over time. I take your concerns and your goals into account as we set your treatment plan in motion.
As we work together you will gain an increased awareness of your alignment. You will learn about the connections between the parts of your body and how they move in harmony with each other. Your participation in a tailored exercise program will enable you to gain greater outcomes in a shorter period of time. Lets put the focus on accomplishing the small changes that you can make during your day to have a big impact on your spine health and mobility, open your stiff hips and lubricate the cartilage in your knees and shoulders.
Restoring optimal movement and decreasing habitual patterns will
*decrease your low back pain and neck pain,
*improve the motion of your stiff shoulders when reaching overhead or lying on your side at night,
*gain some more power in your hips when walking and climbing the stairs,
*help arthritic knee joints move smoothly over the foot and ankle
*reduce the tension on the inflamed plantar fasciia and heel pain when you go to stand up from your chair
My treatments will include Balance challenges, Efficient Breath work and Posture and Alignment drills to fire up the core and make you feel in control of your body.
I provide quality, personalized 1:1 care in my home office space. I offer 60-70 minute sessions to focus on your unique needs and to guide you while you make progress toward your goals. I also lead a Movement and Flow Group Mobility class on Wednesdays 6:30 pm and Fridays 9 am at a local studio. Class packages are available for a discount.
Wish Physical Therapy and Wellness is a cash based practice. I am not in network with any insurance plans. Payment is due at time of service. I can provide a Superbill for you to submit to your insurance plan for out of network services.
Wellness services are offered for sports related performance, nutrition information, sleep hygiene, stress management or once a month check in for exercise progression over time.
