Social and emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which children and adults acquire and effectively apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.
El aprendizaje social y emocional (SEL) es el proceso a través del cual los niños y adultos adquieren y aplican de manera efectiva los conocimientos, actitudes y habilidades necesarias para comprender y manejar las emociones, establecer y alcanzar metas positivas, sentir y mostrar empatía por los demás, establecer y mantener relaciones y tomar decisiones responsables.
