About Me

I am a Weslaco native and a graduate of Weslaco High School. I obtained a Bachelor of Biology at The University of Texas at Austin. Hook 'Em!

The 2017-2018 academic school year marks my 20th year of teaching; this is my seventh year here at Dr. Armando Cuellar Middle School. Prior to that, I taught eleven years at Rico Elementary and two years with the Houston Independent School District.

I am a certified Self-Contained and Bilingual/ESL Early Childhood - Sixth Grade (EC-6) Teacher, and a EC-12 Special Education Teacher.
