Educational History and Professional Development
I obtained my mid management in 2010 through the Integrated Leadership Principal Preparation Program ILP3 at Region 1. I graduated in the spring of 2009 from The University of Texas of Pan American with a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction with a Specialty in Science. In the spring of 2000 I graduated with a Bachelors in Intermediate Studies with a minor in Bilingual Education. I attended The University of Texas Pan American for my Bachelor's from 1997- 2000.
I am part of the Texas Regional Collaborative for Science and Mathematics. I have mentored and trained teachers in Elementary Science for the UTPA Texas Regional Collaborative for Math and Science. I taught at UTRGV as an adjunct professor teaching EDCI 3333-23 Science to Elementary future teachers. I have been awarded 104 hours for mentoring teachers in the Texas Regional Collaborative for Math and Science receiving an award in 2008- 2009 Award for Teacher Mentor for the Texas Regional Collaborative for Math and Science.
