I'm the first generation graduate. I attended Porter High in Brownsville and UTPA in Edinburgh. In my college years, I was an active participant in the Kinesiology Club and held several positions, primarily Kinesiology club President. I'm a firm believer in community service and I have coached soccer for the 8u group in the Mid-Valley Soccer Association and have been a nursery director for the COTLW in Mercedes the past years. I believe that everyone must have an opportunity to shine in their own strengths and I advocate for the freedom to speak and privilege to learn. Currently, I teach physical education 6th-8th grade and coach a variety of sports like volleyball, basketball, soccer and track. Four years ago I challenged my self to coach JVL Volleyball at Weslaco High school a year and I've been coaching FD this past 3 years. I pray for a great year!!!! GO! FIGHT! WIN!
