I'm a first-generation graduate. I attended Porter High in Brownsville and UTPA in Edinburgh. I have a  Master's in Sports Management at UTRGV.. During my college years, I was an active participant in the Kinesiology Club and held several positions, primarily as Kinesiology Club President. I'm a firm believer in community service and I have coached soccer for the 8u group in the Mid-Valley Soccer Association and have been a nursery director for the COTLW in Mercedes the past years. I believe that everyone must have an opportunity to shine in their own strengths and I advocate for the freedom to speak and privilege to learn. Currently, I teach physical education 6th-8th grade and coach  a variety of sports like volleyball, basketball, soccer and track. Years ago, I challenged myself to coach JVL Volleyball at Weslaco High school  a year, JVL Basketball, and I've coached FD for 4 years too. I also coached girls' high school soccer.  This year I plan to coach middle school basketball and soccer.  A new challenge awaits and I am looking forward to accomplishing it by the end of summer.  I pray for a great year!!!!
