Mrs. L. Becerra has earned a Bachelors Degree in Interdisiplinary Studies from UTPA. She became interested in teaching as she took the course; Ready, Set Teach as a student at Weslaco High School. Her passion was always to motivate students to achieve their fullest potential. Not only are her 4th grade students achieveing such level of succes, they enjoy expressing themselves through a multitude of writing activities.

Mrs. Becerra has completed a three week Abydos Institute that allowed her to experience writing activities first hand. She is now implementing strategies that provide an enriched and differentiated instruction to meet the academic needs of her students.

La Sra. L. Becerra obtuvo una Licenciatura en Estudios Interdisciplinarios de UTPA. Ella se interesó en la enseñanza mientras tomaba el curso; Ready, Set Teach como estudiante en Weslaco High School. Su pasión siempre fue motivar a los estudiantes a alcanzar su máximo potencial. No solo sus estudiantes de 4º grado logran tal nivel de éxito, sino que también se expresan a través de una gran cantidad de actividades de escritura.

La Sra. Becerra ha completado un Instituto Abydos de tres semanas que le permitió experimentar las actividades de escritura por si misma. Ella ahora está implementando estrategias que brindan una instrucción enriquecida y diferenciada para satisfacer las necesidades académicas de sus alumnos.
