The campus military liaison plays a crucial role with military-connected students and their families and the campus support staff by:

• Providing information and support to military-connected students and their families regarding campus resources, services, policies, and procedures. 

• Advocating  for the unique needs and challenges faced by military-connected students. They ensure that these students receive the necessary support and accommodations.

• Organizing events and support groups for military-connected students. 

• Collaborating with campus staff to create a supportive environment for military-connected students. This may involve training sessions, awareness programs, and initiatives to address the unique needs of this population.

• Connecting students and their families with external resources and organizations that specialize in military support services, such as mental health counseling.
