Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP) is here!!! Our 8th graders, the Weslaco East High School Class of 2031 are the official Region One: Future Forward cohort! Over the next five years, they will have access to GEAR UP initiatives designed to support college, career, and academic success.

Our goal is simple: to ensure every student in the class of 2031 knows that their future is filled with possibilities. Through academic support, college and career exploration, family engagement, and meaningful opportunities, GEAR UP: Future Forward will walk alongside our Jaguars every step of the way.

Dream big. Plan boldly. Move Future Forward.
