Mr. Noriega is beginning his 2nd year as a band director in Weslaco Independent School District. He serves as the Director of Percussion at Weslaco High School, B. Garza Middle School, and Central Middle School. Mr. Noriega also serves as the conductor of the Concert-A Band at Weslaco High School. In addition to teaching music, he has remained an active composer and arranger of percussion scores for over 10 years. 

Mr. Noriega is currently the Percussion Arranger and Computer Electronic Engineer for the Weslaco Panther Corps. Under his direction, the Percussion has been awarded numerous accolades including Best Percussion in Conference 6A. The Weslaco Panther Corps Percussion also earned Best Snare Line, Best Cymbal Line, and were named 6A Champions at the Roma Drum Line Competition. Most recently, the Weslaco Panther Corps Indoor Percussion Ensemble placed 1st in the TCGC Scholastic Concert Open Division.
