I write research-based commentaries on a wide range of social problems and sociological studies on Wechat, one of the largest social media platforms in China. The account is named “ShyBean.” Popular columns include “how to care for our aging parents,” “hidden curriculum for college students,” “sociological book reviews,” and "here is my research."
In 2023, I served as a consultant to a Chinese nonprofit organization (散学堂), which is dedicated to enhancing children's mental well-being in China through community-based initiatives and educational support.
