One of the challenges faced by low-vision people is viewing far-away objects clearly. This can often lead to chances of falling down while walking, and consequently needing to walk slowly. To tackle this shortcoming, we have developed a magnification tool which lets the user click on the image to select the region to magnify. It resizes the cropped region and presents the enlarged view to the user.

A drawback of this tool is that it sometimes lead to blurry photos because of resizing and low resolution of images. A better approach will be to adjust the relative focal length of the camera to get clear images.
