About this year's Visual Arts Festival

All youth in grades 3-13 from each county were invited to submit “Find your SPARKS”

One People’s Choice winner will be selected from each of the four submission categories: Drawing, Painting, Photography, and Other Media.

Qualified volunteer judges will also be evaluating artwork based on age and category, selecting winners, and providing participants with feedback.

The winners will be announced after Sunday, March 6, 2022.

• Planned by the Tri-County 4-H Visual Arts Festival Committee.

• An individual Zoom session with a judge and a 4-H Program Educator on Saturday, April 9th.

• A traveling exhibition will be coming to Fond du Lac, Ozaukee, and Washington Counties where selected artwork will be on display. Dates and locations are to be determined.

• Pencil, Ink, Charcoal, Pastel, Chalk,, or Other Media

• Supports theme

• Original art only, no kits

• Include an artist statement about yourself

• Include answers to reflection questions in the submission form

Painting

• Acrylic, Watercolor, or Oil

• Supports theme

• Original art only, no kits

Photography

• Black and White or Color print

• Supports theme

Any Other Media

• Any media or mixed-media artwork that does not fall into any other category (including collage, paper art, flat origami, etc.)
