Courses and Doctoral Plan

Information about current course offerings can be found in the NEEP course guide (https://guide.wisc.edu/courses/n_e/). Note that some courses may only be taught once every year or once every other year. 

For doctoral students, planning your doctoral plan can be difficult. Below is a collection of approved doctoral plans under the Fall 2025 student handbook which may be used as a reference while you draft yours. 

Note: While these plans were accepted, taking identical courses does not guarantee approval of the doctoral plan. Be sure to communicate with your advisor, the chair of graduate studies, and the graduate coordinator as you create your own.
