The ME Department offers two programs to facilitate students' involvement in formal or self-directed research.
ME Student Research Opportunities
Faculty in the Mechanical Engineering Department frequently have research opportunities available for undergraduate and graduate students.

ME Maker Fund
Students working on personal projects are invited to apply for funding to pay specific expenses that will boost the success of their project.
Funds are limited to $200 per project per semester.
Approval is subject to availability of funds and approval by a committee of faculty and the ME Department Chair.
