Nimble Working Group
CQI communication was reviewed, emphasizing transparency through scheduled meetings, faculty presentations, and course debriefs. Coordinators can request targeted feedback, and Town Halls will share changes based on student input. Course evaluations remain accessible via e-Value; instructor evaluations are managed by departments. Phase 4 discussions focused on making Dentistry a core rotation to meet COE standards requiring hands-on experience. Feasibility, resources, and alternatives were considered. Peggy provided update on an “Intro to UWVC” rotation, which other schools also offer. Draft syllabi for Phase 3 and Phase 4 are due January 1; faculty vote is scheduled for April 2026.
Nimble Leadership Group
The meeting focused on CQI feedback, emphasizing transparency and regular reporting of student and faculty data. Course coordinators will communicate survey and focus group feedback directly to students. Exam design was discussed, including comparability to past exams, complexity of questions, and alignment with learning outcomes using tagged breakdowns. The next Nimble Meeting agenda was discussed, including: Intro to UWVC’s purpose: Creating a flexible schedule for 53-week years and preparing students for clinics, referencing similar rotations at schools such as ISU, UT, Bristol, Penn, and Missouri. Topics for the rotation could include: Biosecurity, IAT, euthanasia, and rotation coordination.
Module Implementation Teams
Spring 2026 courses should be populating Canvas sandbox pages with content, activities, labs, and instructors. The remaining courses in Phase 2 are in the development phase. Please respond to emails or reach out if you are involved in the development and/or delivery of Phase 2. If your content will be in Phase 2 and you have not been contacted, reach out to module leaders.
Other Updates

CTLM Video Editing and Recording Examples
See this link for examples of how CTLM's Senior Instructional Media Coordinator, Alyson Herreid, can help anyone with recorded content with the following:
Clean up audio and video quality
Smooth transitions
Provide suggestions (e.g. aspect ration, audio/video equipment, platforms, etc.)
Insert knowledge check questions at the beginning, in the middle, or at the end
If you would like to work with Alyson, sign up on this link. The sign up sheet will be prioritized based on when the student would be viewing the content. This means Fall 2025 modules will work with Alyson before Spring 2026, with both occurring before Year 2, etc.
