Lake Wingra Bike Ride
Friday afternoons
Start the weekend off right with a relaxing bike ride around lake Wingra past the zoo and through the arboretum! We will meet at the main entrance to the zoo.

Every Saturday @ 8:50am
Meet in the lobby outside the Wisconsin Union Theater (right across from Helen C White)
A free, fun, and friendly 5k community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer, or spectate – it's up to you! The run/walk goes from the Terrace, down the Lakeshore Path to the UW band practice field (map below). This very chill 5k run/walk will be a super positive way to start your Saturday. All are welcome!

Zoology Museum Visit
Wednesday, Dec. 1
Have you ever wondered what is above the 3rd floor of Noland Hall. Well, we know... We got to visit the Zoology Museum to discover the ways in which they preserve samples for other researchers.
A-Club to the Chazen!

We explored the Chazen Art Museum right here on campus, looking at exhibits including the Companion Species and Picturing a Nation: American Drawings and Watercolors.

Zoo Walk

Explored the Zoo with Janet Batzli and discovered a plethora of amazing exotic animals living right here in Madison. The zoo is free and is just a 15 minute walk from campus!

Insect Super-powers in Japanese Pop Culture walk in UW’s nature preserve

Dr. Marjorie Rhine, UW-Whitewater, led this field trip. Explored how insects play a fascinating role in Japanese culture throughout history and in today’s popular culture!

Join Biocore Adventure Club as we amble around campus exploring the handiwork of giant ground sloths and their Pleistocene buddies! UW Botanical Garden next to Chamberlin Hall.
