Ann Wieben Clinical Assistant Professor and Postdoctoral Trainee University of Wisconsin School of Nursing
My overall research goal is to elevate the ability of nurses and other health professionals to access information, acquire knowledge and practice with wisdom and, by doing so, improve the health of individuals, families, and communities.
I use mixed methods to examine multiple facets of the design, integration, and adoption of decision support systems into healthcare practice, with a current research focus on tools driven by Artificial Intelligence.Â
I am also interested in research related to the use of Artificial Intelligence in nursing education programs and to address rural health inequities.
