What Can We Do?

Boat Care: Clean, Detail, Organize, Etc.

We provide a variety of boat care services. We can do simple cleans after trips when you are either burnt out or in a rush. This includes but is not limited to: scrubbing all surfaces and dirty compartments, taking off any trash, flushing out the engine(s), putting away any gear left out, putting on any necessary covers and generally making sure your boat is as you want it for the next time you use it.  We can also do more intense detailing and cleaning when ever you feel your boat needs it. In addition to the services we provide in the basic cleans, this service includes glass and cushion specific cleaning, screen/electronics cleaning, compartment scrubbing, skid mark and other stain removal, and finishing product and drying that will leave your boat shining. Most of what we do involves boat cleaning and detailing but we are available to provide other boat care services that not everyone has time to do properly. We can fill your boat with gas, organize compartments and fishing tackle and do pretty much anything else you may ask for.

Fishing Services: Crew, Assistance, Etc.

Although most of our services involve boat care, our specialty is definitely our knowledge of fishing the Western Long Island Sound. Many people have nice boats but don't know where to go or what to use. Thats where we can help.  We can offer tips, tricks, and other helpful information that will help you make your fishing trips way more successful. Once we get our captains licenses we will be offering charter services either on our boats (24 Gradywhite cc and 18 Parker) or on your boats if that is preferred. For now the fishing related services we can provide are limited.  If you are a licensed captain, we can be hired as an extremely knowledgeable crew to help out on any possible trips you may be planning and take care of pretty much whatever you may need. We can also do tackle store runs where you give us a budget and a target species and technique and we will purchase the proper gear. We can also provide trip prepping services which includes rod rigging, bait prepping, and advice based on conditions and target species. We can also clean fish(fillet, scale/gut, etc) at the end of trips for those who don't know how or don't want to.

Jack Hammel

Jack is a 20 year old from Larchmont, NY who has spent his entire life fishing the long island sound. He got his old 13 foot Boston Whaler when he was 10 and has been in love with boats since. When he was 14 he got his first job on Montauk's Viking Star, which is a halfday party boat. There, he was able to improve his boat care skills. He also learned how to teach others his knowledge of the waters and the fish. Nowadays, when Jack is home from UW-Madison for the summers, he spends every waking moment cleaning boats or on the water fishing and improving on his knowledge of the area

Jock Maggard

Jock is a 20 year old from Larchmont, NY who has spent his entire life on the water in the Western Long Island Sound. He started driving his dads 18 foot Parker when he was 13 and has spent every second he can on it since. He has also worked at the Mamaroneck Marine Education Center for years where he is able to pick the brains of many local captains and learn from them. Nowadays Jock attends the University of Alabama and when he is home for the summers, when he isn't working on a clients boat, he is fishing and studying the waters.
