Matching Travel Grants
The matching travel grant is an option where uArch covers lodging and registration for the selected student. Any additional costs are covered through a professor, university, or self-funds. The matching grant option is less selective than the full grant and we recommend students who have other funding sources to pursue this option. The steps for the sponsor and student are listed below.
1. Sponsor (Professor/Institution/Department)
If you know of an undergraduate or early master’s student who might be interested in the uArch workshop, please follow the underlying steps:
Submit your and the student’s information in the following form.
Ask the student to apply to uArch by submitting the application form and selecting the matching grant option.
2. Student
If the student is willing to self-fund for the remainder of the costs (except registration and lodging), please select the matching grant option on the application form. You can skip the remaining steps below.
If you think your professor or institution/department can provide you with a matching grant, please follow the underlying steps:
Contact the professor or sponsor and let them know about uArch.
If they agree to sponsor you, ask them to follow the steps provided in the sponsor Section 1 above.
Submit the application form and select the matching grant option.
