¡Welcome!
The 3rd Process Systems Engineering (PSE) in Mexico summer workshop will take place at the Universidad de Guanajuato on August 4 - 8, 2025.
The workshop aims to expose Chemical Engineers from industry and academia to state-of-the-art tools in process modeling, data science, chemical process optimization, process design and intensification, process control, and machine learning. The workshop will also aim to provide participants with the background tools needed to solve pressing societal and industrial problems (e.g., process sustainability, climate change, energy systems, chemical manufacturing).
The first four days of the summer workshop will involve tutorials and short courses. Graduate students will also have the opportunity to share their research via a poster session.
The last day of the workshop will include a mini-symposium entitled "The Future of PSE in Mexico" in which academic leaders from Mexican institutions will share their perspectives on how PSE research and education can contribute to the solution of pressing societal and industrial problems that our country faces.
