Build skills to support youth mental health. Adults who volunteer with young people, care about young people. One way to show we care is to give help and support when someone is feeling down. That’s what the Supporting Youth Mental Health for Volunteers Training—Supporting YMH, for short—is all about: knowing how to support youth when they’re down, whether it’s simply a bad day or it’s more than that.
Supporting YMH has two parts:
1-hour online training
2-hour live training—offered virtually or in-person
Megan Suehring, Shawano County 4-H Educator & Holly Luerssen, Marathon County 4-H Educator

Learn ways of calming your body and mind through breathing and gentle stretching. Take some time for yourself to unwind and take what you learn back to your 4-H club. No mats will be needed-we will do some chair yoga and also on the floor.

Join in exploring the possibilities of photography in prints and beyond. You’ve taken great photos and now it’s time to prepare for an exhibition like the county fair. You might be asking yourself “what questions will the judge ask me?”, “Should I print my photos on my home printer?”, and “how else could I display my photos other than simply printed photos?”. Get these questions, and more, answered while also exploring the best printing options when sending photos to be printed and get creative when looking to share or preserve your photos instead of letting them sit in our digital folder/album, or phone, or memory card. (Optional: bring your printed photos to be reviewed by county fair judge, MaryBeth Wohlrabe.)
MaryBeth Wohlrabe, Outagamie County Positive Youth Development Educator
