The Performing Arts Department is organized to ensure that students experience, understand and value the performing arts in everyday life as contributing citizens of a diverse society. The study of art is a means whereby students can acquire the self-discipline needed to achieve a positive self-image through the development of problem solving techniques and technical skills. The study of art provides a means to foster aesthetic awareness, social interaction, and overall enjoyment, which promotes the transmission of our cultural heritage.
