Curriculum, as defined by the Maine Department of Education, is our written document(s) that include the learning expectations for all students across all of the content areas of the Maine Learning Results, as well as any other content areas specified by the Winthrop Public Schools' School Board. Our curriculum reflects continuous, sequential, and specific instruction aligned to both state and national standards. Through this curriculum, our schools provide courses and learning experiences that support multiple pathways for learning, accommodate a variety of learning styles, and prepare students for responsible citizenship and success in society.
