Hello! I'm Mr. Gay. For the last 12 years, I've been teaching in elementary school, and I'm excited to make the jump to teaching middle and high school. I have previously taught grades 3/4 and ESL and now will be teaching theater classes for high school and middle school. I have. been doing theater for as long as I can remember. I work heavily with the Monmouth Community Players, run their educational theater program, and also work with other various theaters in Maine, including L/A CLT, Maddy's Theatre at the Children's Museum and Theatre of Maine, Mad Horse Theater Company, and others. I do almost everything in theater. Outside of theater I love spending time with my kids and family, reading, going for walks, and I tend to work on a lot of productions. I look forward to being a part of the Winthrop community!

Most of my classes take place in the Winthrop Performing Arts Center.
