Hi! I am a Speech Language Pathologist and Reading Specialist. I began teaching in the Winthrop Public School district in 2013. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Disorders from Northeastern University. I earned my Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders from Massachusetts General Hospital's Institute of Health Professions where I was awarded the Julie Atwood Award for Excellence in academic and clinical achievement. Before coming to Winthrop Public Schools, I've worked at Perkins School for the Blind and The May Institute. I love working in Winthrop, because of the welcoming community. Hello! I began working at Winthrop Middle School as a speech-language pathologist in 2021. I am so excited to meet all of the new 6th graders this year and see all of my 7th and 8th grade students. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Vermont in 2018. In 2021, I graduated with a Master of Science degree from Massachusetts General Hospital’s Institute of Health Professions. I can’t wait to see what this school year will bring!
