Hello Students, 

We will be doing a lot of reading and writing this year! Below I have linked the syllabus for our school year and also a Google Doc version of our weekly reading log. Every week you will be responsible for reading outside of class for 60 minutes. My recommendation is that you aim to read four times a week for 15 minutes to avoid feeling overwhelmed. You are responsible for filling out the reading log to reflect this. 

Additionally, every 6 weeks or so you will have a book report due. The format of these reports may change, but I promise you will have the report in your hand 10 days before the due date. 

The TENTATIVE due dates for the book reports are: 

• October 17

• December 5

•  January 16

• February 27

• April 10

• May 19
