I earned a Bachelor of Science in Education Degree from Abilene Christian University in 1989. I earned a Master of Arts Degree from Abilene Christian University in 1991. I began my teaching career at Abilene High School where I taught for 18 years. I then taught one year of sixth grade at Madison Middle School. I finished my teaching career as the English Department Chair at the Academy of Technology, Engineering, Math & Science (ATEMS) where I taught for 9 years. I retired from teaching in the Spring of 2019. I began working half-time in Winters ISD in the Fall of 2019 as the Dual Credit Facilitator, Edgenuity Manager, and Test Prep Coordinator.
