I’ve loved making up stories and being creative for as long as I can remember. I’ve always had an active imagination, and it has at times been my downfall, but it’s also one of my strengths. Backward is a poem I wrote for class, and I honestly didn’t like it much at first. I thought it was too simple and didn’t fit the typical criteria of a shape poem. It wasn’t until I got feedback about it that I started to like it. And now, Backward serves as a reminder to me that simple can still be enough.
