This year the 7th grade students interviewed 22 members of our Armed Forces on April 19th, learning about their service to our country. This year's interviews focused on those that served during more recent time periods ranging from the 1980's all the way to the present day. As the students learned in the classroom about some of the wars and conflicts that took place during this time period, these interviews helped them to understand the sacrifices and courage men and women from our own local area displayed as they served our country. This project is part of our continuing effort to work with the Madison County Historical Museum to capture as many stories as possible to help our students and community learn about the contributions our men and women from Madison County and surrounding areas have made while bravely serving our country in the Armed Forces. The following Google Slides projects were made by the groups that conducted the interview and contain the full interview from that day as well as highlights from the interview and pictures too.
