Answer: Leadership is Action is an advocacy campaign to educate people about their Sheriff's Office budget and operations. 

Who is behind Leadership is Action?

Answer: Sheriff Mike Prendergast is spearheading the educational efforts, but he is helped by supporters of local law enforcement. Never one to sit behind a desk, Sheriff Prendergast formulated this campaign to unite Citrus County in a common goal: to achieve proper funding for public safety through the summer budgeting process. 

Are my tax dollars being spent on this?

Answer: No. Leadership is Action is funded by Citrus Law & Order, a local advocacy committee comprised exclusively of contributions from people like you who care about Citrus' public safety. No tax dollars are spent.
